Going Over the Details

With the wedding season fast approaching I though it would be a good time to cover our MO (Method of Operations).

Because we film everything documentary style, with absolutely no posed shots, the only thing we need to know is when and the where things are going to happen. We need times and locations for bride and/or groom preps, ceremony, and reception. We also need a rundown of all the important events happening at your wedding. We don't need exact times because the time line is usually out the window by the time the bride's makeup is done.

AS far as the reception is concerned, the best thing you can do for us is to explain to the DJ that you are having your wedding professionally filmed and instruct them to make sure they tell us at least 30 seconds in advance of any events or announcements. This allows us to get our cameras in position. And you read correctly we only need about 30 seconds so it shouldn't be that hard for the DVD to accommodate us.

Now to keep things organized and so there is no last minute change of plans that we aren't aware of, we deal with each wedding on a week by week basis. So you won't hear from Ken a month or two before the wedding, you'll only be covering the details the very week of your wedding. So don't panic if two weeks before the wedding you haven't spoken to us. We have been doing it this for 3 years and it works out better so there is no confusion. This might kind of laid back for some high strung people, but remember that while this is your one and only wedding, it's our 300th. We're professionals and we know exactly what to do. This is my 8th Let's Play and my 1st LP of a game I had previously done on my channel. I am redoing this game because the old project had bad video quality and no commentary.

This will be a 100% LP of the game, so I will go through all 96 goals of the game. I will also try to show the many secrets of the game.

This will be updated along with LP Fire Emblem, but will probably be finished first due to the much smaller length of the game. I personally don't see this project going over 20 videos.

Here is this week's breakdown:

1:27 Akuma backing off at the start trying to stay as far away from cammy's face as possible. Cammy doing her role in this game by trying to get directly in that ass. Cammy is NOT letting akuma run away that easy!

1:43 Akuma can punish a blocked Spiral Arrow with cr. LP xx LK Tatsu, FP Shoryuken (220 dmg, 5 hits, 0 meters) or cr. MP xx LK Tatsu - FP Shoryuken xx FADC FP Hadoken (274 dmg, 6 hits, 2 meters) if you have the meter

1:47 Akuma should be jumping in with MK, not LP because it does more damage. Cammy should be continuing to block, but let's up. The combo Akuma could have done in that situation is cr. LP, cr. LK xx LK Tatsu, FP Shoryuken FADC FP Hadoken

2:29 Smart move by RawkusX to back away because Akuma still has two meters to safely Shoryken FADC. Akuma panics and does Air Tatsu to get out of the corner, but Cammy was far enough away to be able to cr. LK xx Cannon Spike for the win.

2:43 Start of round 2 lets see if Onslaught has the right idea by backing away from Cammy. YES he does, but decides to throw out a random hurricane kick and gets punished for it.

2:45 That's not a combo breaker or anything, Akuma was mashing Shoryuken and Cammy misses her combo. She should have done: cr. LP, cr. LP, cr. LK xx HK Spiral Arrow (5 hits, 153 dmg, 0 meters)

2:54 Random teleport by Akuma followed by random Shoryuken. RawkusX is overestimating Onslaught's abilities because this is the second random Shoryuken he's gotten hit with this round.

2:57 cr. LP, cr. MK xx Hadoken is not the best way to follow up after a knockdown. A better follow up would be a Demon Flip into Dive Kick, Throw or Smash

3:39 Cammy barely gets away from the Raging Demon and misses an opportunity to punish with a Cannon Spike

3:43 Extremely risky Shoryuken right there because he had no meter with which to FADC

3:50 PAUSE! Attention small characters (such as Cammy)! Got to look out for Akumas that walk up and do standing Roundhouse because there's a chance you will duck the second hit from the right distance in which you can COUNTER HIT with a crouching medium kick into a cannon drill. GOOD DAMAGE OPPORTUNITY :)

4:49 Another random Shoryuken.

5:41 Goes for the same Raging Demon trick that he tried last time, but RawkusX didn't learn!

Boycott of Jon and Kate Plus 8

I am not a fan of this show but Jeanie watches it from time to time so I have caught an episode here or a snippet there. First I think it's horrible that they are exploiting these children. Now I know this can be up for debate. Eight kids is a lot to raise and having the show has definitely helped with the financial burdens of having eight children. So I guess I can see where they saw this as a way to make sure their children will be well clothed, fed and educated.

But recently in the news there has been reports of both Jon and Kate having affairs. None of this has been confirmed. Jeanie asked me to watch the season premier tonight and I have to admit I was more than a little curious. The only discussion about any kinds of trouble in the relationship was regarding the media attention and how it was becoming intrusive. Jon mentioned that he had not cheated on Kate, but he merely said that in passing. The couple themselves did not mention anything about infidelity.

In fact, the show did not even mention that Jon was no longer living in the house with them, but by the end of the show it was clear that Jon and Kate were no longer living under the same roof. All but a few minutes of the interviews were done separately. Shots of the kids in the house did not show Jon at all, but clearly showed Kate trying to plan the birthday party all by herself. The only time we saw Jon with the kids was at the birthday party in a public park.

So why am I saying that this show should be boycotted?

The kids.

Jon and Kate had their little run of exploiting their kids. They are now very well off and probably won't have to work anytime soon. And by that token the TLC network has made a substantial amount of money off these cute little children.

Now the castle has crumbled. The couple is having marriage difficulties. National TV is not the place to air your grievances about your spouse. For the good of the children TLC should be voluntarily pulling the plug on this show. A divorce is tough on children as it is. But nothing good can come from documenting the separation of two parents and showing it on TV and eventually on DVD for these kids to watch later in life.

Anybody who has been close to somebody who has been divorced knows what I am talking about. It is a very painful process. Now imagine watching it back in reruns.

Unfortunately the only way this channel is going to remove this show is if the ratings go down. Boycott the Jon and Kate Plus 8 show on TLC. You'll be helping those 8 little children start a somewhat normal life.

B.I.G. Video Show at The Merion Caterers

Andrea and Michael had a really fun wedding at The Merion on Friday night. Of course it helps when a couple hires the right "team". So besides the Merion they hired Steve and Company for their DJ, who are one of the best companies in the Philadelphia/New Jersey area. Any bride who wants to look glamorous all night long knows to hire Bella Angel for their hair and makeup. And once a bride is all dolled up you want to make sure you have a great photographer to capture those special moments. B.I.G. Video Show at Laurel Creek Country Club

Janette and John had a wonderful wedding in Mt. Laurel, NJ on July 4th. We got to work with our good friend, Jordan Brian. Besides being an awesome photographer Jordan also knows how to have fun while he works and keeps the wedding party smiling and having a good time all day long. He also knows how to please his clients. On this night he and his assistant, Brianna, created a beautiful photo montage to show to all the guests. As fate would have it we were hired to create our famous B.I.G. Video Show, so it was only logical that we show them together on our 80" screen in high definition.

We'd both like to thank Terry O at DJ's Available for giving us wonderful sound to show our video. After all, what is video without sound?
